The Uniting Church National History Society has awarded Pilgrim Theological College student, Deborah Lancaster the Geoff Barnes Memorial Prize for History 2023. Her essay titled, “Ripples of Transformation: Anna Jansz and Anabaptist Metamorphosis during the 16th Century” was written as part of the unit Cracking of Christendom: Histories and Theologies of the Reformation which was taught by Prof Katharine Massam, Assoc Prof Kerrie Handasyde and Rev Assoc Prof Geoff Thompson alongside colleagues from Catholic Theological College, Yarra Theological Union, Whitley College and Eva Burrows College in Semester 2, 2023.
