Research at Pilgrim
Our Research Community
Faculty
Led by an eminent and ecumenical faculty, Pilgrim draws from the breadth of the Christian tradition — locally and globally. Our Faculty are committed to remaining research active and open to proposals for research supervision.
Resources for Research
Library
Pilgrim’s campus houses the Dalton-McCaughey library, one of the largest theological collections in Australia, with more than 300,000 volumes.
PhD Students
Our student community reflects a variety of ages, denominations, countries, and backgrounds. Research offers an opportunity for graduates in theology (or an associated discipline) to pursue their own study project under expert supervision.
HDR Scholarships
Pilgrim Theological College in partnership with the Uniting Church Synod of Victoria & Tasmania makes available a range of grants and scholarships to support students undertaking theological study.
Northey Lectures
In memory of distinguished theological educator and leader Rev J D Northey, the Congregational Union of Victoria established a fund to “enable theologians to travel to Melbourne.”
