Annie’s PhD Project

Pilgrim is delighted that Annie Brophy (MTS 2023) has commenced a PhD at Pilgrim under the supervision of Rev Prof Stephen Burns, Prof Katharine Massam and Rev Dr Bryan Cones. Annie’s project “UCA Worship Twenty to Twenty-Five Years On: What Now?” is researching what the UCA can re/claim as essential to its liturgical identity and spirituality, its public service and witness and its insistence that the congregation is not an audience. Annie is a recipient of the Robert James Brown Postgraduate Scholarship.
