Introduction to Feminist Theologies

Semester 2 - Online
(Thursday evenings, 28 July - 31 October)

Dr Rebekah Pryor and colleagues

For anyone interested in feminist theologies, this unit provides a foundation for study through a feminist lens. You will be introduced to core theological concepts such as christology, trinity, hope, Scripture and sexuality, the human person, and leadership in the Christian community through reading original texts by influential feminist theologians. There’s an emphasis on context and the work of feminist theologians working in the global South and various geo-political realities.

The unit is taught collaboratively with a team of practitioners and scholars, reflecting feminist practice as well as content.
