Greek Sources of Western Thought

Develop your understanding of two of the great philosophical thinkers who laid the foundation for Western philosophy in this fascinating unit taught by John Martis.

Plato and Aristotle are famous names – but do you really understand their ideas and the way these two Greeks influenced both past and present culture and thought?
Spend semester one discovering these two great philosophers and their ideas, as well as the way Greek philosophy overall has been important to the development of early Christian theology during semester one at Pilgrim.

This subject is taught both face-to-face and online, and students are expected to be present for each three hour tutorial and lecture on Thursday evenings.
